Hey, I'm Kirsty Morphett - a musician, music teacher and facilitator from Melbourne, Australia, and the creator of Holistic Music.
I truly believe that singing is innate to human expression, and that it is everyone's birthright!
I've been on a long journey with music and singing - but the biggest a-ha moment for me was when I realised that the most important part of the journey was my relationship with myself and the sound I was making. Not performance, not being seen and heard by others - but by learning to trust myself and my own expression first and foremost.
And it's so important to build a journey with music and singing that maintains connection with our deepest inspirations and allows us to navigate and overcome our biggest challenges.
Through my journey of uncovering true joy and fulfilment in music practice, I've developed a new way of learning music and singing that truly gets at the heart of why we yearn to do it in the first place.
And now, I'm passionate about sharing this approach with my students and community, so that everyone can claim their musical birthright, and embrace the deep joy and beauty of music in their lives!
